Goodbye Alien Spouse, Hello Permanent Resident!

Yay! Sam got his green card! Well, not the card itself, which will come in about 6 weeks, but the provision thereof in the form of a little red stamp in his passport. How exciting. The interview itself only took about 20 minutes. Oh, and we were placed under oath.

Then, I took Sam to O-trip, we had some lunch at the caf, I called into work because I still feel pooey, and I got to sit through Sam's afternoon lecture, which was a treat. Its fun to see Sam being professorial.

So, yes, praise the Lord on our immigration proceedings, and as for Sam's PhD placement, we are still on pins & needles. But trying to remember God's sovereignty.

So glad to hear that all went well today. Will continue to remember you both in prayer as grad school is still up in the air (I know exactly what it's like to wait...and wait...and have that question unanswered).
